Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Argoed Community Council website. We hope you find it interesting and informative.

Argoed Community Council is located at the upper-most part of the Sirhowy Valley within the Caerphilly County Borough. The Council represents and serves four small rural communities in South East Wales: Argoed,  Hollybush, Manmoel and Markham. There are 14 Community Council seats.

The Community Council meets regularly on the third Monday of the month and alternates its venue between Argoed, Manmoel and Markham.

Despite having a very limited budget it provides Christmas decorations, grants to charitable organisations and also financially supports Markham Primary School.

Should you have suggestions for improving the website please contact our clerk.
